Ralph Carston and Mona Matthews are two Hollywood transplants. They both want to be actors, and share a bungalow while looking for work. Ralph dreams of being a star, but nobody will hire him with his thick Georgia accent. Even the agent who paid for his ticket to Hollywood won’t see him. Then Mona achieves a little local notoriety when she mouths off in court and is jailed— then quickly released by a judge who’s got his eye on re-election.
