When Steele runs into millionairess Brenda Carroll on her way to catch her ship, she asks him as a favor to retrieve a box of jewels from her apartment that she forgot. Once there, he discovers the murdered bodies of a blonde and an older gentleman—and no jewels. Hustling his wife Lisa along with him, Steele manages to catch up with Brenda on the ship before it sails, but now they’re all headed for Bermuda. Steele soon finds out that the murder victims were Brenda’s lawyer and his secretary, and that Brenda is being blackmailed by her ex-husband Serge. Could Serge be involved in the two murders? Whether he is or not, someone on this cruise ship wants Steele dead.
