The Secret Life of a Teenage Christian - Softcover

Inhaltsangabe

The Secret Life of a Teenage Christian is a collection of poetry
that embodies the idea of what it means to be
Black.
Christian.
And a Teenage.
All coexisting at the same time.
Each poem carefully illustrates the melancholic unexpectedness
that naturally links itself to black Christians,
an obliterated group of individuals
who are forced, at birth, to create a sense of identity
where God is expected to be the center.
This is the paradigm we generally grew up with.
And these are our stories.
