In school, I argued with the literature instructor over what makes a poem "good." I can't remember who won the debate, but I rarely give up. His opinion was a "good" poem had precision and order. I advocated that a "good" poem has emotion.

This is the first work I read by Steve Anc. He is a precise, literary writer who writes with emotion to the point of abandonment.

His few words move you and make you feel. For me, this is what I want from poetry, an instant gratifying escape from the day.
