Disturbing the Pizza: A Newfound Lake Cozy Mystery - Softcover

Inhaltsangabe

When the town librarian is an avid mystery and true-crime reader, the local law enforcement must need a book-smart assistant like her, right?

Now that Rebecca Ramsey is engaged to Chief Kenny Towne, she gets to participate in even more family events. Kenny’s daughters are celebrating their March birthdays with a special afternoon of tubing on Tattered Mountain, the local ski resort. While the perks currently outweigh the drawbacks at this young age, having the chief of police as your father won’t always be so cool. Once in the lodge, pizza, punch and presents dominate their time spent together, and Rebecca is there to organize the event. Her brief absence to grab a forgotten gift, however, changes the course of the weekend.

When Rebecca stumbles upon the remains of a recognizable figure around the resort, she quickly realizes there is nothing she can do but uncover the one responsible for his death. The suspects stack up as she discovers the true nature of the victim.

Will Rebecca take a slice of the recognition when the killer is revealed, or will Chief Towne’s ability to solve this mystery trail off into the backcountry?
