Before Kelly can jump from the high diving board, he must prove to the skeptical lifeguard that he’s a capable swimmer. Kelly has to use all of his swimming skills to complete the task.
“He’s not going to make it”, the grumpy lifeguard sighed. “Swim, Kelly! Swim!”, the crowd replied.
~Swim, Kelly! Swim! Is a heck of a fun ride! But entertainment isn't the sole goal. Greg Burnham provides some basic fundamental steps of swimming. The goal is to de-mystify swimming as a whole, letting the children know, that if they are properly prepared, they can be great swimmers, just like Kelly.
