"The Gopher Tale," by author David Wilson, revives the beloved traditions of another historic author, Virginia Bennett, who wrote animal stories for children in the early 20th century.
This incredible story shares the whimsical tale of fantastical gophers who become friends and fellow workers on an organic farm, creating a deep bond with the farmer through a profound respect and love for the land.
From adventures to dire challenges and much more, "The Gopher Tale" offers an educational message of peaceful coexistence between all creatures and humankind, the importance of sustainability, and the power of working together with others to solve global challenges such as food insecurity.
Artwork throughout the book reinforces the imaginative storyline and provides a place for young readers to practice their coloring skills.
