Dee Rivers, author of Unexpected Answers (revised edition), Linked Evermore and, Planting Seeds of Hope and Lorna Mason, both keen storytellers and creative writing enthusiasts formed The Creative Words Group with like-minded friends from Eastbourne in September 2021.
The group have explored creative ideas using their imagination and from their own life experiences.
Included in the sessions have been the understanding of grammar, the meaning of unusual words, using descriptive language, inclusion of dialogue, formation and structure of poetry and the occasional quiz or word puzzle.
Our motto is:
‘No Pressure, No Stress, No Right, No Wrong, Have Fun’
They have found the greatest pleasure has been to see everyone explore their own imagination and reach surprising levels of achievement.
Within the pages of this book, is a selection of the stories, acrostics, poetry, tongue twisters and more, that they have produced over a two-year period.
