Timothy eyed the man sat across the room from him, as they both settled into another day of intense interviewing for the biography of the strange and enigmatic Curtis Craxford. Already, in only two days, Curtis had told the journalist all about his battles with not one, but two dark entities; evil spirits from a world only seen in movies or talked about in fanciful folklore through the ages, yet Curtis spoke about them in such minute detail and with such fear, that Tim was feeling the realms of fact and fiction blurring before him.
“You left yesterday's chat on one hell of a cliff-hanger, Curtis.” said Tim, sipping at his fresh and strong coffee which filled the cluttered study with the most wonderful aroma. “Demons, thefts, fistfights and car chases aside, I'm sensing there's even more to this story.”
“A concise summing up, Timothy.” said Curtis, who was currently tapping away on his mobile phone, but placed it face down on the small table beside him and seemed to settle in for another day of recounting his experiences. “You're correct. And it's fair to say things went crazy from that moment on, and I mean crazy!” he said.
“So are we carrying straight on from you receiving a phone call from the Scottish Murder Investigation Team?” asked Tim.
“I guess so,” said Curtis, who then paused briefly, “but first, what do you know about Iceland?”

Following directly on from the events of Part 2, Curtis finds himself in a huge amount of trouble, both psychologically and in reality. His anxiety is at a peak, his dreams are becoming stranger and more terrifying by the night, and he is struggling to hold it together.

Having faced two bouts of professional embarrassment in his world of museum exhibitions and press attention, and with the world accusing him of searching out fame at any costs by inventing far-fetched stories of the paranormal, he must try to keep his head down and focus, yet events beyond his control call for him to once again set off around the world in a search for answers and artefacts that could help him make sense of the oddities that haunt his innermost psyche.

From interviews with the police, to meetings with voodoo priestesses, from supernatural battles to challenging cult leaders, from filmmakers to therapists, Curtis’ final push for answers places not only himself, but his friends and family, in more danger than they have ever known in this gripping new tale of paranormal adventures in archaeology and history.
