A 200 plus collection of original poems, lyrics and lines from across the last forty years but particularly focussed on the chaotic and threatening period we live in today. Sometimes they are from the viewpoint of an insider looking out, sometimes an outsider looking in and sometimes someone you just might know. They are grouped in very loose affiliations that cover a wide range of subjects - history and politics, religion and philosophy, music and films, people and problems, problems with technology, art and illumination, age and passing, love and hope or sometimes just not feeling ok. The book doesn’t take things too seriously and sometimes it can’t be serious enough - there’s just too much at stake. You’ll find a celebration of the amazing musical and visual influences from the last sixty years and if you can get past the occasional cynicism you’ll find some hopeful optimism too. Enjoy!
