these small tragedies - Softcover

Inhaltsangabe

these small tragedies is a poetry collection that takes mundane moments from everyday life and places them beneath a magnifying glass.

"it rained this morning,
and i held my umbrella like a statue,
frozen in place forever

as i crossed the street i saw a couple
running through the downpour
the way children run through sprinklers in summer,
smiling,
a loose bundle of sunflowers in hand.

i look down.

i wonder what it's like to live like that."
