Musings from the Far Side is the third book of essays by Dana Wright Rushing. As in her previous two adult nonfiction books, A View from the Far Side, and Another View from the Far Side, Rushing tackles various topics. Her musings cover stories about living in an apartment complex for older people, her grandchildren, Texas politics, immigrants, guns, aging, and the people she meets along the way. Rushing's perspective is sometimes funny and sometimes serious but she always writes with her own particular style of writing, which is from the far side.
