For many years Nancy Lance was the children's librarian for the North Manchester Public Library in North Manchester, Indiana where her animal illustrations brought life to its signature reading program every summer. Now retired and living in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, her family discovered this book among her art and is now bringing it to life for all to enjoy.
