The book is a historical novel, in diary form, of a pharaoh of the Old Egypt, New Empire, which was left in papyrus some accounts of his life, his kingdom and his thoughts, from a teenager as a crown prince to becoming a king, the pharaoh. Describes a little of the world he lived in and the way he lived, reflecting and learning about human life and behavior.
There is an account of Tutankhamun's short life and the way he died, as well as accounts of events strange to the world today, such as the king's marriage to his daughters and sisters.
