In the Shimaguni puzzle, the goal is to shade some cells of the grid black. All black cells in a region must be orthogonally connected. A cell with a number indicates how many cells in that region are shaded. In regions without a number, any amount of cells may be black (at least one). Two regions with the same number of black cells cannot be orthogonally adjacent. When two cells are orthogonally adjacent across a region boundary, at least one cell must be white.
