About the Author

Matthew Wroe lives in England surrounded by farmers’ fields with his family and works for JCB, while this story is in association with JCB, this book is a self-published book that the author and illustrator have teamed up together to raise money for children's charities.

Both the author and illustrator Crystal Rose are dyslexic and wanted to create a heartfelt story about a family and their little yellow digger saving Christmas. Matthew feels very lucky to have two beautiful children and a loving wife and wanted to show his sons the importance in the world of helping others.

Matthew reads to his boys every night, including books about diggers, tractors, trucks and Bulldozers, his boys love diggers and their love of stories is what gave Matthew the inspiration to overcome his dyslexia and write a children's book.

This story contains several agricultural and construction machine vehicles like backhoe loaders, telescopic handlers, excavators, tractors, wheeled loaders, skid steers and dump trucks.
