This is the fifth collection of the works of a group of women who meet twice monthly and write together. After the very successful publication of Scratchings in 2018, Scratchings 2 in 2019, Scratchings 3 in 2020, and Scratchings 4 in 2021, these women have spent the past year dealing with the pandemic, its waxing and waning, and further exploring their own pasts, uncovering memories, and putting them into words on paper. The eleven women who comprise 2022's Scribble Sisters are Susan Blandy, Althea Church, Marianne DeKoven, Margaret Howland, Wilma Ann Johnson, Suzanne Kirkpatrick, Judy Kniffin, Ruth Bornholdt Olsson, Nancy Schoerke, Kathy Wagenknecht, and Berta Winiker.
