John Carriero is a singer-songwriter wordsmith with lots of creative energy. He's been friends with John Keaton for several decades and they have collaborated on many songs together. So, when John K. had the idea for Gigi he naturally called on his old writing partner for some help with the story. John C. says, "I saw John's wonderful illustrations and knew exactly where Gigi was going and what her friends would say. Her first adventure is great fun. I can't wait to see where she goes next!"
