While I was a mostly first grade teacher for over thirty years in the Palo Alto Unified School District, I wrote twenty-two consecutive little books about the two dogs who accompanied me to school daily, entitled Adventures of Penny and Molly. I often heard students and teachers say how much they would like them in a chapter book. Here it is!
(At the end of the book is a Teacher's Guide with notes on lesson plans and key ideas for each of the Penny and Molly stories for use by teachers and parents who want to engage young readers.)
