Mary Ellen Connett MacDonald, MS, licensed marriage and family therapist with over 40 years of experience, is director of Connett Psychotherapy and Coaching, a private practice in West Central Georgia. Her signature style is working passionately to help people thrive with authenticity and empowerment as they heal from grief, loss and wounded relationships. Her approach to healing is both spiritual and transformational.
Connett MacDonald is also the director of EquiHeart, a therapeutic horsemanship program where horses teach humans about trust, partnership, boundaries and effective communication. Additionally, she is a teacher, author, facilitator of women's empowerment programs, and drum circle leader. She lives and works on a farm with her husband, Brad MacDonald, and her therapy horses, cats, and dog. Mary Ellen brings her healing gifts and spiritual medicine to people from around the U.S. through online and in-person sessions, workshops and retreats.
"I offer a holistic approach - health and healing of the body, mind, and soul - to help people navigate the inner and outer storms of their lives and their relationships. I always encourage people to seek their true path because I believe that authentically expressing our passion, creativity and spirit is how people heal and find their soul's purpose. This leads to a joyful and meaningful life. Encounters with nature, experiencing the artistry of the natural world and embracing its beauty are essential to well-being."
