I'm a northern girl with an island heart. I love the ocean, I love the warmth of the sun and I love being outside in nature. Unfortunately, I get sick on big boats, the sun sears my pale freckly skin and it's so hot in Florida most of the year that being outside can be impossible. But I persist. 
 
Originally from Massachusetts, my parents moved us to Florida when I was 15 years old. I've been here ever since, progressively moving further south until I've found an island that makes me happy! I like the freedom to live how I want and thankfully have a career that enables me to do just that. Being in financial services has afforded me the income and education to handle my finances and grow more independent over the last 20 years. I'd love to pay it forward. It's why I wrote the book. I hope my work helps you, I truly do. It's why I got into it in the first place.
 
I do have a family of my own. They're my whole world. My two daughters, a wonderful husband of 22 years, and a little 15 pound cuddly companion keeps me company while my girls begin to fly the coop! His name is Finn.
