We all have a monster on our back - you know, the little voice that tells us we aren't good enough or that we're stupid.

Well, this book helps young people to combat that voice, and is a how-to book of affirmations to help defeat the monster, once and for all.

The simple story and images show how we can unwittingly strengthen the monster by agreeing with what it tells us, by listening to it. But it also shows how we can turn this power around and lose the monster on our backs.

This story is designed for children aged 4 to 11 (and potentially beyond!) after many years working in Primary Education teaching and as an emotional literacy support assistant.
