This unholy alliance strained U. S. Intelligence Services to the breaking point. The Executive Branch was at war with its own Intelligences services and with the Legislative Branch whenever controlled by Democrats. Donald Trump denigrated U. S. Intelligence Services in 2016 in retailiation for findings that Russia supported Trump over Hillary Clinton for President.
