Florida's Geologic Atlas is a compilation of the state;s county geologic maps produced by the Florida Geological Survey. The FGS Open File Map series provided the base map framework for color revisions added to the map for enhancing the geological features. Part I provides an introduction to the physiographic settings of Panhandle, North Peninsular, and South Peninsular Florida summarizing sea level fluctuations and depositional environments for each region.Part II presents the county geological maps sin alphabetical order subidvided into the same sequence described for each regional physiographic setting described in Part I beginning with the Panhandle, North Peninsular Florida,and ending with South Peninsular Florida.
