Could a truce be in the offing? And could it lead to the killer?
Unbeknown to all of them this is vital as an innocent lady is in the killer’s sights and time is of the essence.
Like the popular “Chortleford Mystery” by Peter Chegwidden this story is written in a similar cosy vein, with humour and a degree of gentleness, with the added ingredients of satire, pathos, poignancy and just a little sauce.
