Meet the Marmits, the most amazing space creatures. When Star discovers a new planet, she sets out on a fantastic journey and makes a friend she'll never forget.

The Marmits was inspired by a trip to the zoo and Tarek’s young daughter pronouncing ‘Marmoset monkeys’ as ‘Marmits’. From there an idea of a story for his daughter started, introducing a special type of monkey from outer space who then goes on an adventure to Earth.

After existing as an idea, initially drafted on his iPhone, Tarek wrote the story during 2020 and approached Jake to create the illustrations for the Marmits.
