This book looks into four main days in December: the Eve of Advent using the symbol of the candle to examine and explore it. Second is Mid-Winters Eve with a time for stories (Christmas). Third is of course Christmas Eve with the symbol of an Evergreen (an ancient and powerful symbol by which we will explore the Sermon in green and glitter. Then we end by talking about New Year's Eve with the symbol of Doors. We learn: Light a Candle (let there be light); a time for stories (lots of Christmas stories out there but the best come from the Bible; then comes Christmas Eve and the history of the tree; following up with New Year's Eve and a lesson about Doors.
