Common Sense 2020 re-initiates Thomas Paine’s 1776 Common Sense in effort to inspire a Peaceful Evolution out of our current pandemics. Free from prejudice, the author invokes Publius (“of the people”) in his writings to emphasize the current state of affairs as Hamilton, Madison and Jay exercised in the 1787 Federalist Papers to justify the United States Constitution. Seeking to create a common ground by establishing non-political issues based on the philosophical foundations of American Democracy, Meininger also introduces his Theory of Experience in effort to initiate a progressive, solutions-oriented future free from the dangers of cyclical history. Through his commitment to provide public service, Jason Meininger has traveled nearly 1.8 million miles through 47 states and 93 countries studying history, comparative politics and international affairs. A double major in history and political science at the University of Colorado in Boulder, Jason sought an education from his experiences while focused on applying practical solutions to life around him. In doing so, he has worked alongside U.S. and foreign Presidents, cabinet ministers, CEOs, members of congress in both political parties, and most importantly, people from every walk of life.
