The Mirror’s Image is a collection of poems written by Barbadian author, artist and advocate Lady L. Lyn.x. Suicide, depression, child abuse, domestic violence, rape and racism are some of the harsher themes explored in the first half of the book “Broken”. This body of works tells the story emerging from traumatic beginnings leading to “Reflection” which narrates the journey from the darkness to the light.The purpose of this book is to raise awareness and serve as an inspiration for vulnerable individuals and survivors of trauma. Thirty percent of profits generated from the sale of this book will be donated to charitable causes within the Caribbean.
