My Girlfriend's Journal is the initial book from the Realistic fiction series 'Lies of Truth'. Written in the perspective of a girl who just found the word of God and shares the internalized trials and tribulations thought through her Journal.
Through the first read, you will find the conflicts of a mind, immaturity of an 18 year old girl as well as the wealth of knowledge amassed through her learning of the 'word'.
The book compels you to go through the mind of the girl and understand her thoughts and find what the real instances are that makes her write the journal, miss her days of 'writing', to come back and provide a piece of her mind.
The book is definitely a good foundation for the series and binds us to know what happens next or what exactly happened.
