This book (released 2020) is from the artist, Dawn D. Boyer, Ph.D., with full-page illustrations of 50+ line-art images ranging from cowboy, animal, floral, and dragon themes to Celtic knots, baby chickens, doors, and architectural images from Richmond (Edgar Allen Poe’s home) and the beautiful restored homes in the historic district in Williamsburg, Virginia. Also included in the book are samples of line art from the artist’s other coloring books. The artist has created a stunning array of line-art illustrations that range from beginner to advanced level for challenging illustrations for colorists.

This book should appeal to all ages, skill levels, and ethnic groups. The book includes Spanish and French translations for some text content. There is also a list of the author’s other coloring books in the back of the book for readers’ ‘wish-list’ for purchasing other Big Kid Coloring Books ranging between line art to gray-scale (photo-based).
Note: All illustrations are hand-drawn and copyrighted by the author / artist. Any semblance to other artists’ works is strictly coincidence. The book is standard publisher paper (60# weight) and non-perforated paper with glue binding.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Dawn D. Boyer, Ph.D. has been drawing since she was five-years old. She attended Virginia Commonwealth University, for two years for their Bachelor of Art Program, then later graduated from Radford University, with a Bachelor of Fine Art in Graphic Design and Illustration. Over the years, she has developed a distinctive style for her pen and ink illustrations of old barns and houses, animals, and flowers, as well as Colonial Williamsburg architecture.
She is the author of 824+ books on the topics of business, career search practices, women and gender studies, quotes, and genealogy, including 115+ coloring books for adults.
