This book is for Stevaki, my son whose memory inspires me to write. His birth brought me to marathon of keeping up with his inquisitiveness, adventure, humor and silliness. His love for words was infectious and he was delighted with reading and writing. It was a gift to watch him grow for twenty years refreshing my own impoverished childhood that was erased from my chalk board long ago. I grew with his poetry, songs and love for windsurfing and sailing. This book is about a mother’s distress at losing her child. Like his birth, his death reformulated the meaning of my life and struggle, taught me how to hold the invisible loom of birth and death, continue to weave.
