I’m not sure if the murder actually happened or if the tale of it was just some kind of a ruse. I cannot attest to the truth of most of what is in these papers because I wasn’t there, but he was. He writes it like he is just watching the whole story unfold, but he’s in there. He might have been telling it all just like it happened. Then again, maybe he dressed some of it up so as not to hurt anybody’s feelings. He was a bit of a mystery himself and most of it could just be something he dreamed up to pass his last days. I guess you will have to figure that out, might as well start at the beginning.
