Three separate creative writing competitions were set up at Havelock Primary School, Bell Lane Primary School, and Weald Rise Primary School for children in years 3 to 6. They were given a story hook (foundation / first chapter of a story), which they then had to develop and complete in their own way. The aim of the competition is to stir their imagination and creativity, thereby infusing their passion for creative writing. This book, a compilation of several stories from all three schools, is a celebration of the winners of the competition.
