'How do you do a cheap vegan diet?' 

When enough friends had asked, we decided to stick together our collection of scrappy recipe notes and grocery lists - and soon enough - our equally scrappy ‘Cheap, Easy, Vegan' handbook was born! 

Working in Nutrition and studying Osteopathy, we were already interested in finding the best way to live: A way to keep us energised to do the things we love, as well as working towards a more sustainable lifestyle and balancing this with a pretty tight London budget. 

Of late, more of our friends have asked advice on doing the same so here’s effectively our answer! It’s proved as a useful and practical source of inspiration for our friends transitioning over to a plant-based diet, so we thought it might do the same for you :)

The quantities are pretty approximate, as we haven’t changed a thing since they were originally scribbled down, so feel free to add and take away as per your taste preferences, mood and guests; but you get the gist.

• THIS IS A HANDBOOK - We've recieved a couple of negative reviews based on the fact people expected to recieve large cookbooks. This is a handbook sized cookbook to throw in your bag and take to the shops. Not a large recipe book with photographs...(dimensions below)

• Includes a jumble of tasty and cheap recipes. Literally thrown together. 

• Includes some of Jack's scrappy drawings.
