Russian Arctic Convoys Club C21 : Vol 4 : Newsletters 19 to 22 & “The Arctic Convoys of World War Two” - Softcover

Inhaltsangabe

The Russian Arctic Convoys Club (21st Century) was set up by the families & friends of World War II Veterans who took part in the Russian Convoys during WWII. Many of the original Russian Convoys clubs & associations have now disbanded, mainly due to the age of the Veterans, however many Veterans and their families & friends still wish to meet others and receive information about the Convoys and help to educate & keep the memories of WWII alive. This compilation features our newsletters 19 to 22 (from March to December 2020) and the exhibition on board HMS Unicorn (Dundee, Scotland) in the summer of 2020 “The Arctic Convoys of World War Two”. Our lovely Veteran, The Late Jimmy Baynes, also made a film for the exhibition where he talks about his memories of the convoys and we have included a transcript of his film and a link to our YouTube channel where you can watch and hear Jimmy.
