One may have good intentions and understand what it means to live a chaste and spiritually healthy life and yet find oneself repeatedly falling short. To know what is right and having the needed power to do it is a human dilemma. One reason for this may be that an individual may easily underestimate the reality of what it takes to shoulder their cross daily and follow Him. It has puzzled me that so many take up eastern traditions while being entirely ignorant of the rich tradition of meditation and mysticism in Christianity. What follows are some powerful, meaningful and simple ways to tap into the needed power to effect change in oneself and overcome short comings. It is hoped that these tools of faith will help to make both your interior life and the world a better place. The author has been told by those that are new to the church and Catholic prayer that this is a good book to start with.
