The Bitter End (The Changing Earth Series, Band 9) - Softcover

Inhaltsangabe

"Live together; die together."

As the Earth slides into the next ice age, TJ Swenson controls the Federal Republic of America, and the one thing he still wants is Erika Moore.

Erika lives inside the walls of Pine Springs, a small town in the West, where Vince and her guardian, Patrick Bennet, keep her close. She hates living behind a gate because of TJ, but his Blackshirts are pushing south, and his allies across the border are tightening the noose around the town.

Then Dexter learns that TJ is holding a baby who may be his son.

Dexter was made infertile at thirteen and never believed he could be a father, and only TJ's personal doctor, Dr. Bones, knows the truth. The family sets out on a dangerous mission into federal territory to capture him, while Bennet prepares the resistance for an attack on TJ's base in Amarillo. When the tension between the Blackshirts and the freedom fighters finally breaks, Erika and TJ will stand face to face, and both know that for one of them, it will be the bitter end.

The Bitter End is Book 9 of the nine-book Changing Earth Series, which also includes two companion novels (Swenson and Virgis) and an audio drama. Readers who loved The Day After Tomorrow and Mockingjay will want to see how it ends.
Author Sara F. Hathaway, a self-defense instructor and host of The Changing Earth Podcast, builds real survival skills into every book.

"If you are into intense postapocalyptic fiction, this series is great!" (Amazon reviewer)
