It is scary to die, and great sorrow accompanies death. But also bright joy in a high hope, for we were baptized into the death of Jesus Christ Himself. Because: “We were buried with Him by baptism into death, so that, as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, so we also can walk in a renewed life” (Rom. 6: 4). “Believe in your own resurrection, because in this too you become like Christ, and the cross and the tomb are before you,” says Chrysostom.
