When meat is consumed it hurts us, because the cells of an animal are chemically the same as ours; only the position that the chromosomes have to make to produce a sequence of base pairs in each DNA changes. DNA is what gives us the genetic code, which makes us look physically different from other living beings. Cells consumed from meat produce an increased degree of acidity in the nucleus of our cells; and this high acidity causes the effect of tautomerism & methylation in our DNA, which changes the shape of the couplings between the base pairs adenine-thymine and guanine-cytosine. This is what causes mutation and accelerates DNA replication, which is a characteristic of cancer cell reproduction.
