Do you really know what you sound like when you speak?You've probably never thought about it and are probably unaware of how you use your words.Geordies, Brummies and Liverpudlians have a distinct sound to the rest of the country, but what does us Suff'kers sound like to them - we don't notice our own everyday peculiaraties?This has inspired me to write this book of humorous poems, odes and thoughts in the Suffolk 'Lingo'. As this can sometimes be hard for outsiders to understand, I've added translations to try and make the reading process a little easier.Just take some time to listen and be aware of what you, your family and friends really say - you'll be surprised, I promise you!
