Stars Exist in my Veins is a collection of poetry about love, heartbreak, and longing. Primarily, it is filled with metaphors and similes attempting to explain what depression feels like. It has never been something that is easy for me to discuss or even disclose to family, friends, or lovers. This is a first attempt to open up about what depression really feels like at times and a reminder to everyone else out there that you are not alone in feeling the way you do. At times it can feel hopeless and lonely, Sometimes there are no words to explain it, sometimes there is no one to explain it to. There is always someone out who feels the same way, there is always someone out there willing to listen.
