The Portuguese Podengo is a rare breed that closely resembles his cousins: the Pharaoh Hound, Cirneco dell Etna and Ibizan Hound. They are a very energetic and happy dog that does best within a pack or at least with one other dog in the home. They are a social animal that also does well with children. They require a tall fence because they have the ability to jump unbelievably high. Strong and sturdy, they come in three distinct sizes.
