This book is a collection of doctrinal studies applicable to, The Acts of the Apostles. It is not a verse-by-verse commentary, neither is it a meticulous record of locations, historical dates, nor is it devotional lessons drawn from particular passages. Although the book is primarily a book of transition from God’s dealings with Israel to the world at large, from activity in Jerusalem to Rome, from Peter’s ministry to Paul’s ministry, and from salvation that results from a faith that works to the salvation by grace alone, there are various doctrines found in the book.
God does not change in His attributes, but He does change His dealings with men throughout the Bible record of history. The transitory nature of the Book of Acts causes some confusion as to what the proper doctrines for this present Church age are. This book is an attempt to explain those differences.
