ORAL HOLOCAUST TESTIMONY OF Debora “Babciu” Sachs Jacobovits - Softcover

Inhaltsangabe

This book is built around the oral Holocaust testimony of the mother of the three sons and authors. The original testimony is in Yiddish, and the sons translated it into English. A friend of the oldest son volunteered to translate the testimony into German.
The brothers decided to add a short summary of their mother's life before and after the Holocaust and decided to include many comments that the readers had after reading the book.
The English parts of the book have also been translated into Romanian.
Originally the authors intended the book for their children and grandchildren, but the development took a life of its own and the book was requested by many and ended up in public libraries, schools and museums.
After printing and distributing hundreds of copies the publisher decided to publish this book on Amazon and proceeds from the sale will be donated to charity.
