This book presents a model to account for addictive behaviour in such a way that it can be modified using large-group treatment. It details (1) the development of a questionnaire to identify the motivations that drive addictions, (2) a detailed series of large-group treatment workshops for them, and (3) results that demonstrate their effectiveness. The text is taken primarily from two previous publications: Large-Group Psychological Treatment Workshops by Douglas Quirk and Freedom from Addictions by Douglas Quirk and Reg Reynolds.
