Inhaltsangabe

This book is dedication to my loving husband, Stephen Monte Bennett, who was a native of Louisville, Ky but lived in Dallas, Texas since 1997. He wrote poems for 35 years as well as children’s stories for 25 years. He had a B.A. in Anthropology and a Masters in Social Work from the University of Louisville in Louisville, Ky.
Stephen had a profound love for loving and inspirational words that he thought could make people live better.
My husband loved many things about life but his love for God, his wife, and poetry were his greatest love of all, and he put that love in every poem he wrote. I will love to share a few words of my husband’s many years of poetry with you.

A Love For You

Have you ever wanted to be loved? You’ve felt lonely and unloved because of life’s misfortunes but there is a love for you. It’s waiting inside within the best part of you that you’ve overlooked for so long. You’ve got to embrace yourself and look at that glowing spirit that’s there just for you. It’s a love for you and don’t let anyone tell you it’s not there. No one can be as special to you as you are to yourself!

Being Loved

Have you felt loved? A feeling of joyful wonder that you are cared for just because you’re you. Cherishing of smiles turned inward, hugs that reinforce closeness and nurture everlasting of hope and well-being. Being loved… there’s nothing like it in all the world, to not have it is unthinkable an unbearable reality. It is to be shared so that it can give its flowery sensation to all who receive it. Being hungry or thirsty within no more…saved by love’s embrace. Being loved… always feeling the warmth of the sun.

These are Just a few words my husband wrote. There are many more and I know you will find them just as inspiring as he did while writing them.
My husband has gone home to be with his Father, but he left his poetry just for us to read, reflect and enjoy. I know you will enjoy reading it just as much as my husband loved writing them.
