Widget had a rough night.

Strange shapes on the wall are shadows from tree branches, and frightening whispers outside are really the sounds of a friendly neighborhood kitten.

Even the ghost floating in the hallway has a perfectly ordinary explanation. With Aunt Beep beside him, Widget begins to understand that his imagination can sometimes turn everyday sights and sounds into something much scarier than they really are.

By facing each fear instead of hiding from it, Widget discovers that the dark does not have to be frightening—and that when he needs help, Aunt Beep is there. By the end of the story, the spookies no longer seem so spooky after all.
