Witty Willy is an abstract and surreal series of free verse poems dedicated to the beauty of infinity. The narrative combines mathematical expression,literary references, mythology, philosophy, history, religious symbolism, and personal perspective to create an immersive and melodic reading experience. Liam Sullivan employs the stream-of-consciousness narrative mode and draws from his education as a student, Roman Catholic upbringing, and experience as a math educator to encapture the essence of the book's narrator, Witty Willy. This is Sullivan's second self-published work of poetry. Sullivan considers Witty Willy to be a poetic extension of his first book of poetry, The Nomad.
