There's Something about Athena: A pair of Au Pairs in Athens (The Grecian adventures collection) - Softcover

Inhaltsangabe

Athens 1982 - where the secrets are as old as the ruins and the flings are as hot as the sun.

To escape the biting English winter, friends Hattie and Martha take a gruelling three-day bus trip across Europe to the golden warmth of Athens. But they aren't alone. When a mysterious roll of developed film appears at their hostel, they realise a stalker has been capturing their every move.

Seeking safety, they flee to the coast to work as au pairs for the Drakos family. But the 'professional' household is its own kind of chaos. Between managing three children, one an unruly terror who refuses to be tamed - all under the gaze of a formidable YiaYia - the girls are pushed to their limits.

While Hattie seeks a 'cure' for her 'casual sex addiction' through sessions with her psychiatric boss, Martha finds herself distracted by a capricious fling with an American airman from the nearby Glyfada base.

As the sun sets over their Grecian adventure, secrets are exposed and paths diverge. In a city where nothing is as it seems, who will stay to embrace the Athenian life, and who will venture on to pastures new?

There's just something about Athens!
